Wrongful Death: Auto manufacturer and tire distributor/installer settled wrongful death claims after the plaintiffs’ closed their case-in-chief at trial. Plaintiffs’ tires were not installed correctly and their vehicle rolled over. Decedent was only in his thirties and was survived by his wife and their two small children.

Wrongful Death/Train Accident: Unlawfully parked freight train blocked view of passing train on adjacent tracks which struck clients’ car as it was crossing major intersection. Driver was fatally injured and the passenger suffered severe brain injuries.

Insurance Bad Faith/Mold Personal Injury: Major insurance company wrongfully denied plaintiffs the benefit of their policy for mold remediation, causing personal injury to plaintiffs. Plaintiffs also sought additional living expenses for the five months that they had to be out of their home and emotional distress damages. The verdict also included punitive damages.

HOA Assessment Collection: Defendant owned multiple units in a common-interest development and refused to pay assessments. Plaintiff filed a breach of the CC&Rs complaint and Defendant paid the assessments in full as well as all attorneys’ fees and costs.
